I am an urban geographer with a background in urban planning and social justice. My work is motivated by a desire to understand how cities respond to migration and to the needs of undocumented and underdocumented residents.

At Erasmus University Rotterdam, I lead ANCHOR, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie project that examines how urban citizenship is cultivated, sustained or dismantled in large and medium-sized cities in Greece and the Netherlands, approaching political will as an urban infrastructure.

I am a member of the Policy, Politics and Society group, an affiliate of the LDE Centre Governance of Migration and Diversity, and part of the IMISCOE and Soli*City networks.

I hold a PhD from University College Dublin, where I compared migration governance in Athens and Dublin. Before that, I studied urban planning in Thessaloniki and completed an MSc in Amsterdam.

Outside work, I love to travel and explore new places, I draw, and I'm learning Dutch.
